You can’t please all the people all the time, you can only please some of the people some …. wait …. it seems that even pleasing some of the people some of the time has become a huge effort!

So are people generally harder to please these days? I think so.

Has society become contemptuos because it has life at it’s fingertips? I think so.

It’s not a given right that life is easy. We make the best of it we can. However, it is nice to not only be given a hand, but it’s rewarding to give a hand too. Or so we thought.

More often than not I am hearing whinging from those that should feel grateful that there are people around that care enough to help. If I give you a blanket, say “thank you”, not “I don’t like the colour”.

Yes, that’s my whinge today. I keep seeing people do fantastic things for others, and feeling worse after they have done it because they weren’t appreciated. It’s not these people were looking for apprecation, it just would have been nice.

One day there will be no one left to help people. The helpers would have become jaded. Then where would you all be. Take note… there really are people out there who spend more time thinking of others than themselves. It may feel foreign to you, but it feels completely natural to them.

So when they want to do something to make you feel better… just say Thank You.
