I created She Shed as a response to something I kept hearing from women in our area, they wanted a space to take part in activities they couldn't easily access elsewhere. Whether it was creative workshops, practical skills, or simply a place to unwind and connect, there was a clear need for something local, welcoming, and inclusive.

So I built She Shed as a venue where women could learn, socialise, and get to know their neighbours. It's become a hub for everything from garden art and DIY to sustainable living and textile crafts. More than just a place to gather, it's a community built on curiosity, creativity, and connection.
