getting to know me
I'm a creative curator and producer behind Absolutely Australia and a web creator at clearFusion Digital. I’m also the mind behind Connecting Corridors and It’s Only Natural, where I bring ideas to life through impactful websites and creative projects. Whether overseeing creative direction, managing social media, or producing digital content, I combine organization, creativity, and a friendly approach to ensure every project runs smoothly and everyone’s time is valued.
From swimming with dolphins to navigating the cyber highway, my journey has been anything but ordinary. I first got switched on to the web in the mid-1990s, built my first commercial website in 1999, and honestly, I haven't looked back since.
A lucky moment in Canada at the turn of the century had me stumble across 'web standards' while researching code online. It just clicked, and I’ve been passionate about building standards-compliant websites ever since.
In 2001, I relocated back to Australia and established Attitude e-media in Mandurah. This digital mothership now houses a handful of web entities. I pride myself on delivering websites that don't just look great but also make sense to my clients.
I really value the freedom to work from just about anywhere, so making sure every website I build works seamlessly on mobile devices is a top priority. When you’ve lived and worked across both hemispheres, experiencing everything from +52°C to -38°C, you come to appreciate flexibility!
Beyond code and pixels, my life reads a bit like an adventure novel. I’ve been a copywriter, roadie, dolphin handler, wildlife officer, mine worker, publican, daughter, sister, mother, wife, and hopefully, a good person. I've stood atop ancient temples where I could spot four countries at once, stayed in haunted English inns, and marvelled at everything from lush rainforests to Scottish highlands.
After such a colourful life, I actually find it pretty hard to profile myself, but I reckon that’s what helps me really understand my clients’ stories and bring them to life online.
It’s never easy to sum up a life full of incredible experiences, but here goes! I’ve worn many hats over the years, copywriter, roadie, dolphin handler, wildlife officer, mine worker, publican, web designer, daughter, sister, mother, wife, and (I hope!) a great friend and a good person.
