My journey began in Belize, a tropical paradise that offered a perfect blend of relaxation & adventure.

Leaving the laid-back vibes of Belize behind, I travelled through lush landscapes and picturesque villages until my adventure took me to the heart of the Guatemalan jungle ... Tikal. The ancient Mayan city, hidden deep within the rainforest, was a place of wonder and mystery. As I approached the site, the towering temples and pyramids emerged from the dense foliage, creating a scene that felt like stepping back in time.

I spent a few days exploring the charming villages, each one offering a unique glimpse into the local culture. From colourful markets to traditional Mayan artifacts, the experience was both enriching & enchanting.

Exploring Tikal was an unforgettable experience. I wandered through the Grand Plaza, marvelling at the intricate carvings and towering structures that stood as a testament to the ingenuity of the ancient Maya. I watched others climb to the top of Temple IV, with the backdrop of a breathtaking sunrise that painted the jungle canopy in hues of gold and green. The sounds of howler monkeys & exotic birds added to the magical atmosphere, making the moment truly surreal.
